based at this knowledge the appliaction engineer will be able to identify problems and needs at the costumer site and work throughout the work cycle until the implementation of the solution.
responsibility includes managing the definition and implementation of processes and applications, to meet the product road map and cip plan.
travel to customer site is required==perform other technical/application tasks as needed to meet and exceed customer expectations
job specific knowledge
most knowledge will be acquired through ojtthorough knowledge of chemistry/physics/characterization of assigned area;
basic knowledge of system hardware and application interactions of assigned area;knowledge of wafer fabrication processes. other duties as assigned.

qualification of new processes and technologies
executes process ãy-sites, evaluation and demos at customers site
define/approve product application support plans for installation, take part in installations and (product) qualification of new tool (process) and technologies
