job description r&d position within the global communication solutions product development organization proivdes cusotmer product engineering (cpe) supoprt for endpionts: devices and client applications. java, etc) to resolve issues with h.323 and sip endpoints
qualifications bs cs/ee degree with 3-5 years c++ and oop programming experience within embedded sysetms or real-time os such as vxwroks and or liunx is reqiured, g. c++.the endpoints cpe team provides the higehst leevl of support for customer escalations interfacing with avaya global services teams to manage the resolution of product defect related issues. good oral and written communication skills are a must.cpe development engineers are expected to perform root cause analysis and sw/fw debugging to resolve product defects in a timely manner. some minimal travel to customer locations is expected. the cpe developer will be expected to engage in effective communication with ags teams, bps and and external customers to fully understand issue details, provide action plans around trouble-shooting and resolution.
