to be responsible for purchasing materials.and procure to invoice, information systems / commerce, cost analysis,

works with engineering and mpm or scm to recommend new suppliers.equipment and services at the lowest cost consistent with consideration of quality, components, reliability of source and urgency of need,
quotes materials; procures materials.
evaluates supplier quality and reliability, ramp & slow capabilities.as appropriate,
negotiates vendor contracts.expeidtes and ensures the timely receipt of materials.
provides feedback to engineering for cost reduction efforts.
maitnain supplier infrastructure systems (mrp , supplier collaboration portal , pdm)
pulls and redas part specifciations and engineering draiwngs.de-expdeite actoins).
reveiws mrp on a regluar baiss.
expedites shoratges to meet manufatcuring need daets.
surevys suppliers to maintain adeuqate worikng relatoinship.anaylzes propsoals,
isuses rfqs, negotiates prices and delivery, issues and/or adjusts purchase orders in a timely manner.
may work to develop new supply sources where suppliers are inadequate.
responsible for liabilities and renewal of contracts.
